Pros:
-has a raincoat thing which you can take out to protect your gear even in heavy rain, which crumpler doesn’t.
-has padded shoulder strap which crumpler doesn’t.
Cons:
-looks like a camera bag (come steal me), which crumpler doesn’t.
Link for Crumpler: http://www.amazon.com/Crumpler-Million-D…
Pros:
-is stylish and slim
-does not look like a camera bag…so good!
Cons:
-might look girlish…?
-no rain protection for the gear, has little open corners on the top
-no padded shoulder strap, might hurt shoulders after long time
I don’t want other suggestions. No $5 million either.
I have Nikon D40 with 18-200mm VR …no other lens…just wish to carry this and ofcourse the hood, battery charger with cable, 2 filters, and a usb card reader.
Which one would you pick? google to product to see more images i guess.

I’d go with the Lowepro. So it looks like a camera bag. Any serious thief knows what the other bags look like, too, so they know what to steal. Wear it over your head with the bag hanging by your waist in the front and a little to the side, and you can rest your arm on it and hang onto the strap, too.

Well i can tell you that the nova is a good quality bag that will last as long as your camera and is very protective for your gear the rain cover is nice touch and no messing if needed in a hurry ! I know where your coming from with the whole come steal me thing though.
I’m not familiar with the crumpler but looks pretty good although i doubt it has padding to match the nova !
If i was to recommend a bag or get another myself I’d go for one of the new billingham range, expensive but they look understated and i think they just make the best camera bags ! Hope thats of some use !
Almost forgot, the nova has space for my slr [ canon, smallish by slr standards] 18- 55 lens , 70- 300 tele cleaning gear, remote switch, extra memory , batteries and the charger . Still room left the small pockets aswell.
