I guess it depends on how you use your camera. I take nature photography…mostly landscapes…so I don’t need quick access to my gear. I like to use a camera backpack because it’s more comfortable than having a strap hanging on my shoulder.
But there are tons of possibilities out there. Try looking at the websites for one of the large on-line photo companies like bhphotovideo.com or adorama.com to see what’s available.
If you take nature photography and go to locations frequented by lots of photographers, you will probably see many of the options. If you see something that looks interesting, maybe ask the photographer where he got it…
