Its a SLR camera with multiple lenses. I thought of getting a backpack style bag but that could easily get stolen from my back.

    I use a cross body bag with velcro and a buckle. If you wear the strap across your chest it would be difficult to yank off. Also, the velcro makes a bit of noise when opening, so it would be obvious if someone tried to pull it open.
    Get a bag that doesen’t have any obvious camera brands on it, something that doesen’t shout “I have expensive camera equipment inside”.

    try getting a bag that slings across yourshoulder becaus that way you have at your side and you can alway have one hand on it so know one can reach in a grab something with out you knowing
